The two ex-FBI officials were charged Friday for lying to Congress that they had little involvement in investigations into Hunter Biden - despite “helping shape the public narrative” around the troubled first son’s laptop, according to federal authorities. The former senior bureau officials, Nikki Floris and Bradley Benavides, self-surrendered and are facing charges based on a probe into their work on FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF) during the 2020 election, DC US Attorney Jeanine Pirro and FBI Director Kash Patel announced. The two are also accused by a current FBI employee of concealing from Congress their relationships with federal investigators and prosecutors close to the Hunter Biden probes while serving on the FBI’s Foreign Influence Task Force (FITF).
Now, we all know that the FBI under Kames Comey was rotten at it's core, so why would we be surprised that two agents that worked on the case lied to Congress?
They thought they had the Director's - and the President's back when they did it. Problem is, Congressional records don't go away. But - hopefully - if these two are convicted of lying to Congres, they will go away. And hopefully for a goodly amount of time. And lose their pensions. One can only hope...
