It's that moment when you see the guy from next door standing on a street corner with shit like this guy has. Paul Beckwith of Angola, Indiana, was participating in a "No Kings" rally held in Northeast Indiana.
According to reports published by KPCNews and Fort Wayne Business Weekly, Beckwith doctored real street parking signs specifically for the political demonstration. By blacking out the letters "PAR," he not-so-cleverly altered the standard regulatory text.
The demonstrations were part of a broader series of nationwide "No Kings" protest rallies organized to voice 'opposition against political figures and perceived government overreach'.
Somewhere along the line somebody thought it'd be cool to say it's about getting out the vote and voting early, when, in fact, it was really just the only way these idiots could demonstrate their TDS along side other like idiots...

At 94, Keith Davison had lost his wife of 66 years, and his house had gone quiet. So he did something nobody expected: he built a swimming pool.
The retired judge opened it to every kid on the block in his hometown of Morris, Minnesota. Now his afternoons are full of splashing, diving boards, and laughter, with Keith watching happily from a lawn chair. He had no grandchildren, but the neighborhood happily adopted him anyway. Loneliness is real, and sometimes the cure is a deep end and a crowd of kids.

If it were up to me, I'd slam the breaks on this shit yesterday. The New York Dimwit transferred $1 million from her campaign operation to the Abdul for Michigan Victory Fund as El-Sayed battles Republican Mike Rogers in one of the country’s closely watched Senate races.
AOC isn’t just writing a check. She has been campaigning alongside El-Sayed in Michigan, joining him for a bus tour through the Upper Peninsula and appearing at multiple events in the Detroit area. “I’m not waking up on November 4th wishing I did more to combat the smears aimed at Abdul,” Ocasio-Cortez told The New York Times. “I’m leaving everything I can on the field.”
The $1 million transfer is unusually large for a House member supporting a Senate candidate in another state. It also shows just how important El-Sayed has become to the progressive, uber-lib wing of the Democratic Party. Sen. Bernie Sanders has backed El-Sayed as well, while AOC has made clear she sees his election as important to the broader progressive movement.
How pissed would you be if you had donated to a candidate - any candidate - and they turned around and gave it to someone else? I don't even think this shit should be legal...

Ya know, I might actually stray over to left side of the ballot once in a blue moon because the red-side guy's just a little too nutty for me. That being said, isn't it amazing how so many elections are decided as simply as that cartoon portrays? How many people would have really voted for Kamala if she wasn't running against DJT?
Hey - back in'16, I didn't know Jackshit about him, but I had to vote for him just simply because he wasn't Hillary. You know what I'm sayin' here...

Carolyn Marvin, 78, was arrested after preventing an Uber Eats robot from completing its delivery on the 1200 block of Filbert Street. Footage of the incident, which happened near the City of Brotherly Love's famous Reading Terminal Market, showed Marvin standing in front of the robot before being removed from the scene by at least three officers.
She said she had done it to protest the fact that robots are taking jobs away from humans.
Here we go...

I ran across this going through my pic files yesterday. I had taken this from a flight I was taking out of Newark airport. I shot it 'cause dead nuts in the center is the neighborhood I grew up in. It's funny - when I lived there, I never thought of it being congested or super-busy or anything like this. But, from this perspective, ya think 'Fuck - that's so crazy jammed up'. I'm sure if you're not a country bumpkin, you get the same vibe seeing your old neighborhood...

I'm happy every day I've been a country bumpkin for 75 years with my closest neighbor being a half mile away and still too damn close.
