I gotta believe we were all a whole lot smarter before we all got phones that are smarter than we are. I mean, fuck, I was at the bank today with three people in the line in front of me waiting for a teller to be available, and all three had their fuckin' phones out scrolling on something or other.
I gotta believe they weren't looking for cometitive CD rates and checking their portfolios. One of them had the sound on - albeit low - and was watching a video of some kind. A video - because standing in line for maybe three or four minutes was too stressful for her.
One thing I'll admit - I do check my phone three or four times a day, but I am looking at the stock market or reviewing and approving your comments on here. I can never be as hopelessly bored as that one broad was today. Jeez - and I bet she couldn't count to twelve without takin' a fuckin' shoe off. Makes me crazy...
