Clap on, clap off.

Having lived in the Virgin Islands for as long as I did - well over ten years - I can get along just fine without electricity all day, every day. Reality was,  the power'd flip on and off there on a daily basis, and, like in the case of post-Hurricane Marilyn, we were without full power for ten weeks before it was fully restored.
As it happened, at that time I actually owned three generators - we used them at jobsites alot. I kept the best one at my house and the other two went off to repair jobs. I only needed to run it for about three hours a day to do everything we needed - not the least of which was to make as much ice as possible and hot water for bathing.
So, long and short of it, when most people around here freak when the power goes out, it's not that big a deal for me. Juss' sayin'...

...

When the power goes out you can still
charge your phone super fast.
And it's also a flashlight.
Marked down today to only $ 18.99...
