Is Islam a religion or an ideology?
Islam is a religion that functions as a comprehensive ideology. It is not merely one or the other; classical Islamic sources treat belief, worship, law, politics, and social order as an integrated whole. It meets the standard criteria of a religion - monotheism, but goes off the rails on other issues.
As an Ideology, Islamic doctrine also supplies a totalizing system that regulates public life far beyond private belief or ethics. Sharia is presented as divine law covering criminal penalties (hudud), commercial rules, family law, warfare, governance, and relations with non-Muslims.
Calling Islam “only a religion” understates the scope of its primary sources. Calling it “only an ideology” ignores the central place of worship, theology, and personal devotion. Accurate description recognizes both: a religion whose claims extend into ideology and governance
At the root of all of the unrest in the middle east is this religion/ideology warping sensibilities and fomenting hatred and wishing death for anyone non-Muslim.
Helluva religion ya got there, Skippy

Vice President JD Vance was interrupted in his midterm convention speech on Thursday when a heckler waving a Mexican flag cut him off, screaming 'Free Palestine' inside the packed Dallas arena.
Vance addressed the breach, noting, 'what the people at home missed is that we just had a protester interrupting us and waving the Mexican flag.' He then spoke to the heckler, adding 'Well, my friend, if you love Mexico so much, get your ass over there! I'll buy you a plane ticket.'

I may have mentioned this before, but Babs is constantly chirping about buying a place high in the mountains somewhere and plopping a camper on it. All well and good - maybe in my next life I'll consider it, but for now...
I have two friends who live near me who do exactly that - they both own small plots of land, and they live in campers. They may be theoretically mobile, but these guys ain't goin' no where. Both are bikers, but I think that's just a coincidence.
If you're looking to fully commit to RV life and want to buy some land where you can park your home on wheels, you'll want to consider one of the states with the least restrictive laws. These include Florida, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, and Oregon. These states typically don't require special permitting and will pretty much let you mind your own business as long as you don't make any trouble. Just be sure to check the local statutes to make sure you're above board.
Jalopnik has a great article on the States that don't allow people to live in their own campers on their own properties. It's here - guess how many of them are blue states...

Their rendition of the Star Spangled Banner made Roseanne's version sound like an aria from Tosca. Without question the single worst performance of that song that's everr been performed outside someone's basement. What an absolute embarrassment...
