It's always been the case that when Labor Day is done with, Summer's over, right? Well, when we lived at the Jersey Shore, it wasn't at all. Today began what we called 'locals summer' when all the Bennies had gone back whereverthefuck and we had the beaches - and streets and bars and restaurants all to ourselves.
