Video footage captures the moment a Berlin woman narrowly cheats death while leaping from her 11th-floor window onto a truck’s aerial platform as flames consumed the high-rise. The woman is seen dangling Friday as smoke and flames billow out of the window next to her, with a firefighter urging her to jump down onto the rescue truck two floors below.
Smoke and flames crept closer to her as she took the leap of faith, plummeting toward the firefighter, whose arms were outstretched. She landed safely in the rescue bucket before being lowered to the ground.
There you have my reason number four for never living anywhere were you have to take an elevator to get to your 'home'. I don't even like visiting people in buildings like that. I'll be living on the first floor of my one-story house with a lot of windows if ya need me, thank you very much...
