This image shows the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark, New Jersey. It is a French Gothic Revival architectural structure located on Clifton Avenue, just a few short blocks from the house I grew up in. This was our parish church. Being an 'Altar Boy' there was, in retrospect, a major pain in my ass. Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve went on for over two hours, or at least it felt like it. It is the fifth-largest cathedral in North America. Construction on this landmark took 55 years to complete.
Take a look at it's website. It is spectacular.
