It's lightning season, that's for sure...

A golfer in Ohio is lucky to be alive after he unknowingly recorded the wild-ass friggin' moment he was struck by lightning last Friday. Chris Schiavone was golfing with his pals at the Pebble Creek Golf Course near Cincinnati when a thunderstorm rolled through the region and caused the group’s golf cart to get stuck in the muddy conditions.
Schiavone had pulled out his phone to film his buddies struggling to free their bogged buggy. But he ended up capturing the moment a lightning bolt hit his arm and knocked him to the ground. Following the strike, Schiavone said he temporarily lost feeling throughout his body and his hearing was impacted.
Schiavone posted the now-viral video of the harrowing strike to social media, which has amassed over over two million views amid a barrage of criticism. “1 in 1,000,000 they say,” Schiavone wrote, adding that he is “very lucky and blessed” to be alive after that crazy shit. He said "I just wanted to goof on my buds when they were stuck in the mud. What the fuck, man?".

If you work hard for 35 or 40 years, you may end up getting, on average, less that $ 1,850.00 per month from Social Security.
A Mexican - or some kinda gang banger - sneaks in to our country and was receiving nearly $ 3,850.00 a month - including free, secure housing - in benefits. Tell me how that makes sense, Mr. Biden. That is, if you can still form a sentence any more. I'll wait over here...

Sure - fuck around with AI they said. It'll be fun they said. It's fuckin' creepy, dude. I sent ChatGPT one of my profile pics from Facebook - the one on the left -  and asked it to make me a bobblehead. It gave me the one on the right.
Coupla things worth nothing. It captured the shirt, the hair and the goofy toothy smile okay, but somehow, it put a drink in my hand and changed the hat I had on. And the hat it changed it to is a hat that I own, but obviously not on my head in the original pic.
How the fuck did it know that? Tell me again that shit ain't fuckin' creepy. I'll be over here with some weird-ass fuckin' green girlie drink in my hand...

And you wonder why they endure what they do to get here?

This is an award-winning photograph by Belgian photographer Alice Smeets, shot in the impoverished Cité Soleil slum of Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This powerful image won the prestigious UNICEF Photo of the Year Award in 2008.
It depicts a young girl wading through polluted standing water and debris alongside pigs in Cité Soleil, one of the largest and most densely populated slums in the Western Hemisphere.
The photographer sought to document the stark reality of extreme urban poverty while highlighting the resilience, dignity, and spirit of the children living within these challenging conditions.

Growing up as I did - in a big city, and not having a new bicycle of my own until I was around 20 - it may not be the same with you than it was with me. Every bike I ever had either came as a hand-me-down or came from the NPD's impound of stolen shit that my Father woulda got for me at work.
If I knew a kid who had a bike like this, the kid was 100% guaranteed to be a complete jerkoff, my parents wouldn'ta liked his parents, and the kid probably woulda grew up to be gay. Juss' sayin'...

Yeah - we make fun of the Dimocrats - maybe because they're such easy targets, but hey, the Republicans really aren't that far behind 'em. Having the President and the majorities in both the House and the Senate and these limp-wristed, do nothing motherfuckers can't get shit done? Almost make ya wanna lose faith in the system or something, don't it?

  1. Reminder: Google is free.
This is 1st result you get when you google: "Do refugees get free housing in USA?"

No, refugees do not get permanent free housing in the U.S.
When they arrive, the government gives local resettlement groups a one-time, limited cash grant per person. Resettlement agencies use these funds to pay for temporary housing and basic needs for a short time, usually 30 to 90 days.
    How Initial Housing Works
Short-term help: The money covers basic rent and food for the first few months only.
Resettlement groups: Non-profit groups help find apartments and sign leases, but they do not pay rent forever.
Quick independence: Refugees must find a job and pay their own rent as soon as possible.

    Long-Term Rules
No special free housing: After the initial startup period, refugees do not get free housing privileges.
Public assistance: Like other low-income U.S. residents, they might apply for standard public aid or low-income housing programs if they qualify (most don't), but these have long waiting lists and are not free

    1. And they'll do the same for Ohio that they did for Port-au-Prince.

  6. My first bike had balloon tires, weighed a ton and came from Sears. Dad picked it up at the Sears warehouse and put it together during a Santa Ana windstorm. Not a good first day to ride.

    1. You must live in a city run by Democrats, because a very nice one sells for 10% of that here.

  10. In 1796 doctors invent vaccines and save millions of lives. In 2026 a con man and a dead raccoon dick aficionado convince 1/3 of Americans that vaccines are bad.
At this point it will take many, many, many dead Americans to realize they were fooled. The work that education couldn't do will be done by the decease. Eventually American's will come to understand there is a price to pay for these mistakes.

    1. Are you talking about vaccines in general, or an untested experimental but mandated one for a disease with a very low mortality rate that turns out to have some undisclosed side effects? Or the Hep-B one for babies, just in case they are sexually active? Pardon my skepticism, but I am capable of learning who the liars are. I'm not an anti-vaxxer, former military, and it's a good bet I've had more than most humans.

Mistakes come in two flavors, omission and commission. As always, ask yourself "are the benefits worth the risks" and you'll do better than most.

    2. Why did Mr. Science take the 5th? Yes, vaccines can be safe and effective. The mRNA "vaccines" (not the same concept as polio or smallpox vaccines) were never fully tested. They received an "emergency use authorization" ... mainly by people profiting from their use.

In the 80s, only an idiot would believe the "science" coming out of the Tobacco Institute. The CDC/FDA should enjoy the same skepticism for the same reason.

  11. history has shown us that there are 2 main groups that congress tends to fuck over time and time again. Vest and old folks.
and yet for some reason the assholes keep getting elected after doing that ? think of old slow Joe for one. he pushed to SS to be taxed ?

As to your bobble head doll’s green drink, I wonder if AI is picking up on a bottle of Heineken? Scary stuff
