The post on X came from an internal email showing a breakdown of the schedule of events for the July 4th San Diego County Fireworks celebration, per San Diego County’s El Cajon Mayor Bill Wells.
The itinerary kicks off shortly after 5 p.m. with a celebration of Native Americans and Local Tribal Community Stories, including a Tribal Intimate Blessing and a Welcoming and Land Acknowledgment.
From there, the schedule devotes several hours to Latino Community Stories, Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Community Stories, and Black and African Community Stories.
Note - more than a half hour for this LBGTQXYZ+/- bullshit. Maybe we can slice them off and trade 'em to Mexico for a coupla cases of Coronas. That's about all they're worth...
If I remember correctly, LA County tried to ban 4th of July fireworks a few years ago. The result was more fireworks.

ReplyDeleteWhen I left San Diego County, Jan, 2015, the Board of Supervisors was made up of 4 aging White republicans and one Dem. It was the only government body in the region, NOT in the red financially. One of the best, non shit lib places in Commiefornia. The Sheriff's Dept was the size of an army (the county is about 70 miles by 70 miles) and has a great air force. Sherriff deputies were screened to NOT be dicks.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great place to grow up in the '50's and '60's. Went in the Air Force after high school in '69. When I got back in '73, you could see "some changes".
Today, we're happy, hill hermits in the free state of Tennessee. Sometimes you can hear automatic weapons fire on a Saturday, in the distance. The local gun stores have suppressors for sale, THAT kind of free.
