Energy security is national security. America benefits from stable global energy markets and diversified supply routes. Supporting projects that increase reliable oil production - while still pursuing American energy dominance at home - is smart policy. Cheap, abundant energy powers our economy and weakens adversaries who use oil as a weapon.
The point being made here is simple. We can't - and won't - allow those towel-headed fuckpipes in Tehran dictate what free and flowing commerce is all about.

ReplyDeleteIf it is the same pipeline I am thinking of, it basically needs to be completely replaced. Iraqi oil is very high sulfur content and was eating holes in it. Most of the leaks we thought were due to enemy action were in fact just that it was in need of repair/replacement.
