A mock firing squad dubbed “Commandos for Christ” stormed into
a Kentucky Baptist church’s vacation bible school - and executed the devil as part of a bewildering skit in front of young children. The bizarre scenes, which unfolded at Lexington’s Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, saw armed soldiers take out their enemy and pastor Dewayne Walker rallied kids to chant “take him out, blow him up,” a TikTok video shared on Reddit shows.
So-called Commandos for Christ surrounded their satanic target – who was flailing on the ground – before they opened fire in front of the screaming audience. As the noise of gunshots rang out in the room, the “Devil” was shot and dragged out via a side door.
What 'biblical' lesson have those kids learned - in their church ferfucksakes? God - what a fucked up thing religion can be - in the wrong hands...

Jesus really should have learned to write and should have spent his time writing down his teachings and intent, etc. instead of simply relying on his apostles and the politicians who followed, to exploit what he came to teach.

DeleteIt would have been better if he'd been born after the invention of at least the printing press. Video recording would have been handy as well. Of course, if he was born today, we'd all just laugh at him.
But serious, as much as simple and straightforward things like the second amendment are argued, people would find something to argue about.
If Jesus had merely written his teachings he would have been just another writer, like today's Christian writers, who are read almost exclusively by people who agree with them on every detail.
DeleteIf he'd been born in our time he could have dealt with the laughter. Turned water into wine. Healed people with gruesome disease conditions.
Would people have found things to bicker about? Absolutely! Ego defenses would have bristled up in every imaginable direction.
Sounds like the KY churches have figured out how to handle tranny story time for kids.
ReplyDeleteProtestantism sees the Devil as a real entity and killing him metaphorically is a part of that. Besides, you can't begin teaching kids to stand against evil too early.
