A Wisconsin brewery known for anti-Trump social media posts, including one promising a free beer promotion upon the death of President Donald Trump, has had its permit to operate in the state revoked by state officials.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Monday that liberal activist and brewery owner Kirk Bangstad is “vowing to fight ‘tooth and nail’ after receiving a letter from the state’s Department of Revenue revoking Minocqua Brewing Co.’s permit to operate in Wisconsin, according to a July 26 newsletter sent to his supporters.”
If that ain't a classic - almost textbook - example of FAFO, I don't know what is.
And - it happened in Wisconsin - go figure...

Do you have gout like I do?
Black cherry concentrate does one thing, and only one thing. It eliminates Uric
Acid in your system - that's all it does. And it works better than any drug any
doctor can prescribe. If you have gout, buy a bottle and take two a day, that's all.
See for yourself if it doesn't work. Trust me - it does. Click the picture.

There are violations other than that...but you watch some asshole judge will over-turn that quickly.
ReplyDeletei'd have to wonder if that may fall under threatening a sitting president, regardless of who is in office. Se me straight if i'm wrong. i'm not sure.
ReplyDeleteSorry. The Minocqua Brewing brouhaha has nothing to do with Trump. The owner was cited for importing alcohol from Illinois illegally. Apparently he's been caught doing that previously, and the state tax guys want their money. Yeah, he's a jerk. But his problem is neither being a jerk nor running his mouth: he's a crook, and he got caught. Correlation is not causation.
ReplyDeleteTrump is sitting around 30% popularity today. He is 80 and in poor health with even worse diet and sleep pattern. He doesn't have long in this world.
ReplyDeleteWith 70% of the country opposing him you better believe that lots of people will be celebrating when that day comes.
