Don't wanna stand for the National Anthem, you little shit? Okay...

An older man at a recent Cubs game took issue with a younger fan choosing to remain seated during the national anthem. A video shared to X that has gone viral shows an older man yelling “get up” to a younger man who was looking up at him during the anthem performance by the Jersey Girls at Sunday’s game at Wrigley Field between the Cubs and Twins.
The man then leaned down to whisper something in the seated man’s ear before smacking him in the back of the head. The younger man then stood up as onlookers turned to catch sight of what was going on, appearing surprised.

The video, which has reached over two million views, sparked debate in the replies, much like many anthem-related moments at sporting events have in the past. Some defended the older man’s actions, holding the opinion that choosing to sit is disrespectful to the country, while others said he took things too far and striking someone over a decision they rightfully made was not the right call.
No matter where you are, there's always some pussified fuckwad who'll tell you doing shit like that is out of line. I disagree completely. That kid ain't the only person who needs to know how to have respect for our country and what it stands for. I'd buy that guy a dinner for doing what I know I probably would also have done. Juss' sayin'...

  1. The older guy was way out of line. He committed an assault and battery, which is a felony. The younger guy should have gone to the stadium police, and had the older guy arrested and removed from the stadium. Anyway, the older guy needs a thorough b^tch-slapping.

There are all sorts of valid reasons not to stand, including a disability, a protest over American aggression in the Middle East, or just plain laziness and disinterest.

Anyone who actually supports the A&B is out of he effing mine, and anti-American to boot.

    3. We need more peer pressure to make seditionist dipwads behave themselves properly in public. Making excuses for them is just encouraging their behavior. Like the saying goes, "First the traitors, then the invaders."
It's only going to get worse. If violence isn't the answer, you haven't used enough of it yet.

    4. Agree 100% I would have reported the old windbag to the law. It was the lad's right to not stand.

  2. If more "youngsters" had been smacked in the head we wouldn't be over run with faggots, trannies and marxist dipwads.

  3. Recently took the family from Orlando up to Atlanta to catch a Braves game. There wasn't a single person not standing and singing the Anthem in my section. A lady, probably 100, in a wheelchair, got up! It's a shame that gentleman didn't beat that fool with a stick!
