There oughta be a law. I'm no communist (pun intended) but nobody should be so rich and so vaneful to have to own something as garish as this thing. It costs around $40 to $50 million per year to keep the 142-meter (465-foot) superyacht Nord in the water. Owned by Russian billionaire Alexei Mordashov, this $500 million vessel is one of the world's most sought-after and secretive superyachts. Mordashov is reportedly worth around 45 billion, but he must have an incredibly small pishadeel to have to own something like this to make up for it.
“Nord,” one of the world’s most expensive superyachts, features two helicopter pads, luxury lounge decks, and an 80-foot swimming pool at the stern. It also includes an onboard gym, cinema, and jacuzzi, and carries a submarine and other smaller craft. The ship has space for 36 guests and 42 crew.
