My left eye is fixed focus at reading distance. my right eye starts to focus at dashboard distance. I did not know this was unusual because I had no other eyes to compare mine to. My eyes do not track together. I see double.
ReplyDeleteI am left handed, like 9 percent of the population. the school refused to buy a left handed glove.
When the ball was hit to left field I saw two balls depart home plate, separate until they peaked, rejoin as they fell, disappear 4 feet out, and reappear 18 inches from my face. I had half a second to identify the correct ball, twist my wrong handed glove to catch what may or may not be the right ball, then either throw it wrong handed, or remove my wrong handed glove and throw the ball with my dominant hand.
This is one reason why some people grow up to be hateful mean antisocial jerks. We were treated like dog droppings because we had conditions we were not aware of.
