They're actually closing the boardwalk? Well, sorta...

Whenever you read a story from a British tabloid, you have to have a little tounge-in-cheek skepticism over the way thjey tend to make big stories out of small ones, and be aware that they use a lot of superlatives in their descriptions. That being said, this is another of their 'mountain-out-of-a-molehill' reports.
According to the US Sun - a brit tab - A famous boardwalk is set to make major changes to its hours of operation for the entire year. Under the new rules, beachgoers will be barred from the boardwalk without exception for a four-hour period every day.

When I was a kid back in the late 50's - early 60's, a ride on the tram car train cost
ten cents. I wonder if they're still using the same recording we did back in the day...

The new rules will limit overnight gatherings on the Wildwood boardwalk in Wildwood, New Jersey, according to a Facebook post from the city’s page. The closure will be a year-round one, with certain exemptions that generally will not apply to the public. These include emergency personnel, authorized city employees, contractors, vendors, or those with special permission from the police and/or city.
Under Ordinance No. 1350-26, the boardwalk will be closed to the public from 1am to 5am every day of the year.
