According to The Post, the US unleashed targeted strikes on Iran’s critical Kharg Island on Tuesday — as President Trump chillingly declared that “a whole civilization will die tonight.” Roughly 50 strikes were carried out on military targets on the Islamic Republic’s oil-critical stronghold, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing senior US officials. Kharg Island, which is one-third the size of Manhattan and located in the Persian Gulf, controls roughly 90% of Iranian crude oil exports.
The mission included airstrikes along the northern side of the Island, hitting military bunkers and storage facilities, air defense systems, and other military facilities.

I don't get this. There are other ways of cutting off their oil without us having to pay to rebuild everything. And if they can mine the straight why can't we mine their coastline to prevent them from sending out boats?

This war has showed that Trump can only point at targets for our military to destroy and our military can destroy any target Trump can point at. BUT that is not a strategy. We got into this war without a plan or strategy and now we can't get out.

well. we no long have the means to make or build mines for one. yeah. the clowns in DC still think we can fight a war like WW2 again. we can not. we do not have the factories, or the semi or even skilled workforce to do it.

50,000 barrel refinery built in Saudi. it took almost 2 years. at the near height of our power. how long would it take to build one TODAY ? maybe 10 years if you lucky. fill up every damn gasoline can you have as it going to go up.
