This whole fuckup in Iran is dramatically different from any of the other fuckups we've fucked up other times. This one's a headless horseman - nobody knows who's in charge, but that's not the problem. The problem is - these guys are fuckin' professional liars, and as such, have no idea who's telling the truth and who isn't.
They said yesterday that they want to discuss re-opening the straight (for obvious reasons) but will not discuss nuclear weapons. They don't believe the reason we're gonna end up bombing them back in to the stone age is so they cannot ever have a nuke. Given recent events, it's probably not the best time to test Trump's resolve. What was that country song about 'We'll put a boot up your ass - it's the American way...'

In May 2013, Etta Mae Lopez, a 31 year old woman from Sacramento, waited outside the county jail for hours with a specific plan. When a uniformed deputy finally walked past, she stepped forward and slapped him, later explaining she wanted to be arrested so she could quit smoking in a smoke free jail.
The deputy, Matt Campoy, said the attack came without warning as he was leaving his shift. Lopez struck his face and then hit his arm as he tried to restrain her. Once handcuffed, she told officers she had chosen a deputy on purpose because she believed it was the only way to ensure real jail time.
Lopez pleaded no contest to misdemeanor battery on a peace officer. A judge sentenced her to 63 days in jail, including credit for time already served, along with additional probation related to a prior case. She was also ordered to have no contact with sheriff’s deputies.
According to deputies, Lopez said she believed jail was the only place where she could not access tobacco and stay long enough to break the habit.
