I don't klnow how dry it is up by you, but down here in Florida we're suffering through one of the worst droughts in more than three decades. They say we'd need to get 20+ inches of rain in this month just to get back to what they consider normal conditions. Therer are a lot of lakes around here - we are in Lake County, after all - and the majority of them are down as much as eight feet. Starting to suffer wildfires also, so wherever those April showers that bring May flowers are, they sure as fuck ain't here.

Vatican leaders are facing a sharp rebuke from Border Czar Tom Homan after Pope Leo XIV criticized the administration’s aggressive immigration enforcement and mass deportation strategies. Homan, a lifelong Catholic, argued that religious leaders in Rome are detached from the grim realities of the U.S. southern border, asserting that "securing the border saves lives" while open-border policies lead to humanitarian "atrocities."
During a heated response, Homan suggested that the Pope should focus on "fixing the Catholic Church" before weighing in on American national security. He highlighted the hypocrisy of the Vatican's own strict security protocols, noting that if anyone were to scale the walls of the Vatican, the legal consequences would be far more severe than those currently faced by individuals entering the United States illegally.
The Humanitarian Argument: Homan contended that a lack of enforcement empowers cartels, leading to an increase in sex trafficking, migrant deaths, and the flow of deadly fentanyl into American communities.
It might serve the Vatican well to shut the fuck up about what America is doing and fix it's own problems. How dare they condemn us for trying to enforce our borders - maybe the walls of Vatican City should come down, huh, Mr. Nosybody?

Believe it or not, this Cathedral isn't in some European Capital - it sits on the highest point of the City of Newark, NJ - in the neighborhood I grew up in. I'm sure I've mentioned it a number of times before but thought you should see how incredibly opulent the interior of the church is. That ain't wood, brutha - that's all carved marble.
It was built back in the day when the church still had a lot of money and power and knew how to shut the fuck up. Juss' sayin' - I have no ax to grind with the Holy Roman Church...

Iran’s terrorist Islamic regime is preparing to carry out the execution of a female protester, marking the first known case of a woman facing this outcome in connection with the recent wave of demonstrations. She is among roughly 1,600 individuals said to have received death sentences over the past year.
Bita Hemmati has been identified as the first woman scheduled for execution tied to the protests that erupted nationwide in January and were forcefully suppressed by state forces.
According to a statement released Tuesday by the opposition National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), authorities have accused her of multiple offenses, including the use of explosives and weapons, throwing objects such as concrete blocks, taking part in protest gatherings, and actions deemed to threaten national security.

New Jersey Gov. Mikie Sherrill bashed the “inherited” World Cup host agreement where FIFA is absolved of paying for transportation to the matches — and insisted she won’t stand for its planned price gouging.
She is demanding FIFA foot the bill for World Cup transportation as NJ Transit plans will inflate train tickets to the stadium by 775%.So ya gotta ask yourself - 'What fuckin' planet was this broad raised on?' If you're going to a movie should the theater send a car for you? Going out to dinner and the restaurant'll call a taxi for you? Maybe when you go shopping the store'll front you the bus fare. Give it a rest you fuckin' whackjob. Jeez...

Huh, Obimbo's wing man, Alexfraud, visits Chitcago commie pope then the commie pope comes out swinging against Trump. Makes a former Catholic wonder who runs the "church".
ReplyDeleteWhen you start posting images of yourself as Jesus and picking fights with the Pope it means that you have lost contact with reality
ReplyDeleteHoman needs to change his analogy for the Catholic Church to better relate to the rape problem. "Because if they wore my shoes for 40 years, and talked to a nine-year-old boy that got raped multiple times,..."
ReplyDeleteThe years were not kind to Joy Harmon. Life just isn't fair.

DeleteWhen the Vatican tears down its' walls and sells its' art collection, I might GAS what the pope says.
ReplyDeleteMullahs will never realize that for every protester they execute they create 10 more citizens eager to cooperate with Mossad. There is a reason the Israeli Air Force knew exactly where to bomb.
ReplyDelete100% AGREE.
DeleteAlso, every Iranian WE kill creates 10 more citizens eager to cooperate with terrorist organizations targeting us. If the dead Iranian happens to be a girl at a school make that 100 more citizens eager to cooperate with terrorist organizations.
We are creating the next generation of terrorists and making the recruiter's job easier by tying our selves to religion (Hegseth asking soldiers to fight in the name of Jesus, quoting the bible as a justification for the war, etc)
We will pay the cost of this war far into the future and that cost will not be paid just in $ at the pump or in debt. We will pay with lives.

The citizens of Wakanda were never given credit for their great contributions to church architecture.
ReplyDeleteEvery Pope since WWII was against war. Furthermore the Church was justly criticized for not standing up during WWII.
ReplyDeleteJohn Paull II was against the Falklands War, both Iraq wars. Actually the Vatican acted as a mediator between Argentina and England during the Falklands war.
