Florida has officially taken over the Wawa game…

And honestly, we’re not giving it back. Florida has 304 Wawa's, Pennsylvania only 263, and it may be a Pennsylvannia company, but they know where the 'true believers' are. And yeah… we know how it happened. A bunch of people came down here chasing sunshine, beaches, and no snow…
then about two weeks in they realized something was missing.
Not the seasons. Not the cold. A Wawa. So what did Florida do? We said… “say less.”
Now you’ve got Wawas popping up everywhere. right next to palm trees, across from beaches, sitting in the middle of pure Florida chaos like it’s been here the whole time.
You walk in and it’s still the same energy: coffee flowing, hoagies getting made, people moving like it’s part gas station, part lifestyle. Except now? You’re walking out into humidity instead of a snowstorm.
And somehow… it works.
Because Florida didn’t just get Wawa - Florida adapted it. Sun, subs, and iced coffee year-round. No scraping windshields. No freezing mornings.
Just good food, good vibes - and a full tank.
So yeah - Pennsylvania might’ve started it, but Florida said, “We’ll take it from here.” Thanks to Life in Florida for the inspiration...

  2. But how far are you from a Bucky's?

  3. Buck-ees - one in Daytona Beach, one St. Augustine, more on the way. WaWa is the one of the most overrated places on the planet, I had to try it once. Once. Stale bread, fries made in 1847, dubious service, but I guess that is what the snowbirds and damn yankees are used to.
