BeanTown's gone LaLa. WTF is happening up there?

Reports say that Boston’s woke Mayor Michelle Wu is funding a new program that gives “queer and trans” migrants up to $500 for massages, yoga classes and creative healing - despite the city being crushed by a nearly $50 million deficit.
The so-called “wellness allowances” are being handed out by a nonprofit called OUTnewcomers and is backed by the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement, the group revealed Wednesday.
“We’re offering $250–$500 wellness allowances for LGBTQ+ migrants in Boston to support their mental health and well-being through non-clinical care including yoga, meditation, creative healing, peer support, hair salon/ acupuncture & massages appointments and gym memberships etc.,” an ad sent out by the group reads.

For guys like me who've lived a semi-normal life working hard, playing hard and not fucking up too much (you know - like you), this shit is just too much to take. Boston is a fun town. I would have like to see at least one more game at The Fenway, but this is the kinda shit that makes me never want to go up there again. I don't want or need to have to travel to surround myself with idiots. I can do that right here in Florida, thank you...

This blog is supported by the meager commissions I get when you buy stuff
on Amazon going through a link you see here. It doesn't matter if you buy what
is promoted, or something else - it's all still credited to the blog. I am ever so
greatful when you guys do it, because that little I do make from Amazon is still
a big help now that I'm no longer working.
Long and short of it? If you're ever going to Amazon, do me a favor and come to
the blog first and use one of my links. Your help is greatly appreciated. Seriously...

  1. I have seen the Savannah Bananas at Fenway twice. I had premium seats both times. Great shows. I have also been to Gillette Stadium. I would turn down tickets to a game if I was not on field level or the first level up. I have been once. I was not in the top level and with my arm extended, my thumb covered the field. Who wants to pay big bucks to watch a game on a jumbo-tron? The nose-bleed section started a quarter of the way up the stadium.
