What have you been watching?

Okay. I know I'm pretty much out of the loop when it comes to modern entertainment vis a vis music and TV, but now I see it's about movies as well. My tastes tend to run to more classic stuff in all those areas, partially because I don't get what people today think is funny - or even interesting. I get it.
But read that list. There isn't a single movie on there that I've seen, but - more importantly - I have never heard of a single one of them. Not one. Take a look. Am I alone in this? Have you seen or even heard of any of them? Granted, I haven't been in a movie theater in 20+  years, so, My bad...

  2. Same here. Can't say I've heard of any of them. Have been boycotting Hollywood well over 20 years. If not for grandkids our TV would never be turned on.

  3. I saw a movie in the theater last year (I went with my daughter to see the most recent Demon Slayer movie). I've heard of/seen previews for five of the movies on that list. Little to no desire to see any of them.

  4. You're not alone. I've never heard of any of those movies, either. Perhaps they are only available on Netflix? (and I don't have Netflix)

  5. I'm with you on movies and Netflix. Haven't been to a cinema in at least 20 years, and most movies are '30s-'50s on TCM.
Modern "comedy" eludes me. It seems to be based on mocking and humiliating political conservatives, it certainly isn't funny.

  6. Red Notice, can't remember anything about it.
The Adam Project, plot summary is shorter than this sentence.
Don't Look Up, had potential for a good movie, but completely lost it.

    You didn't miss anything.

  8. You're not alone there, Giusepp', because I've never heard of any of those flicks. Hell, I don't even know who any of today's actors or celebs are, let alone do I know what they've acted in, or what they're otherwise "famous" for - and I don't care about any of them or their movies or TV shows or whatever else it is they've done or do.

  11. Not a one. Zero interest in any of them either. Haven't been to a movie house since my better 7/8ths dragged me to some Star Bores thing in 2015. It had a different title & different characters, but was basically the same movie I saw in 1977.

  12. My wife made me watch "Under Paris" - ugh. Third rate Jaws rip off, so bad it was bad. Haven't seen any of the others and don't really care to.

  13. Nada, and not one sounds the least bit interesting. But, then again, I'm just an old fart.

  16. I'm glad to see the "Carry On..." movies are at number 3. I didn't think anyone appreciated those old British humor (humour) movies anymore.
