Is there anything more blatant than the left's refusel to push for voter ID laws? Of course they don't want them, becuase it would reduce their voter base. It's just that simple. I am curious why Republicans don't push harder on this while they have the slim majorities that they have in both houses. Just doesn't make sense...

NewsNation reported yesterday that the Defense Department is threatening to cut ties with Scouting America, the organization formerly known as the Boy Scouts. Sean Parnell, assistant to the defense secretary for public affairs, made a lengthy social media post where he threatened to withdraw military support for the organization over their policies.
“As a result, over the past several months, the Department of War has been reviewing its relationship with Scouting America— formerly known as the Boy Scouts of America. A great organization, that has — in many ways — lost its way,” Parnell wrote.
Scouting America underwent a rebrand in 2025, allowing girls and LGBTQ+ people to join the organization and promoting inclusivity. (While girls are now allowed and the moniker was changed to Scouting America, the Girl Scouts of the USA remain a separate, independent organization, and boys are not allowed to join.)
Parnell referenced President Donald Trump’s “Ending Illegal Discrimination and Restoring Merit-Based Opportunity” executive order, which targeted DEI and inclusivity efforts among federal contractors.
Decisions by Scouting America to embrace “DEI and other social justice, gender-fluid ideological stances” are “unacceptable,” Parnell wrote.
