Making lemonade out of SoCal's shitty weather lemons...

It was a swell day for this guy, despite the stormy weather. The Claifornia Post reported on a SoCal surfer who took advantage of Monday’s deluge, using his board to shred the flood waters of a Long Beach street while being towed by a pickup, wild video shows. “I wanna get outside and surf. I told my brother, I said ‘Dude, put that truck in first gear, let’s go,’” Hayden De Leon told NBC 4.
De Leon said he wore a helmet through some of the “sketchier parts of the surf” but that the “waves were good.” “Weather was nice, waves were good,” he quipped. “No bumps or bruises.” Following the ride, De Leon joked that “street surfing should be a winter Olympic sport.”
De Leon is no stranger to extreme sports.“It was a blast,” he said. “I grew up wakeboarding, surfing, snowboarding… so this just fit right into the abundance of fun you can have out here in Southern California.”
