If nothing else, this should be fun to watch...

According to a couple of Floria Hillbillys, Former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have agreed to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee in its investigation into convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The decision marks a sharp reversal after months of negotiations and comes as House Republicans were preparing to move forward with contempt of Congress resolutions against both Clintons, which the committee voted to advance last month.
Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) questioned the timing of the agreement, saying it only came after contempt proceedings gained momentum. “The Clintons’ counsel has said they agree to terms, but those terms lack clarity yet again and they have provided no dates for their depositions,” Comer said. “The only reason they have said they agree to terms is because the House has moved forward with contempt.” Comer added that he would review the details before deciding the committee’s next steps.
The announcement sparked tense exchanges during a House Rules Committee meeting, where Comer appeared to learn of the Clintons’ decision in real time. Earlier, Comer had rejected a previous offer from the Clintons as “unreasonable,” accusing them of seeking special treatment and calling it “an affront to the American people’s desire for transparency.” Clinton spokesman Angel UreƱa pushed back, accusing Republicans of bad-faith negotiations and saying the Clintons “look forward to setting a precedent that applies to everyone.”

Rumor has it online bookies are already taking bets on how many times the Clintons will invoke the Fifth Amendment (you know, pleading the fifth) once the questioning starts...
