Talk about a frivolous lawsuit! These two ladies in California claim that they have been misled by the information on the label of Costco’s famous rotisserie chicken that states “no preservatives.” Why? Because the listed additives include sodium phosphate and carrageenan. That, they say, merited a lawsuit. They go on to claim that Costco "has systematically cheated customers out of tens, if not hundreds of millions of dollars by falsely advertising its Kirkland Signature Seasoned Rotisserie chicken as containing no preservatives.” Really? Who exactly is doing the cheating here? Let’s start with the fact that sodium phosphate and carrageenan are not preservatives, you morons.

what a lot of people do not understand is that the battle of Normandy was like almost 2 months long. yeah. they kind of skipped over that part. from day one to about 6-8 weeks later did the Allies break out of the trap/lines of Germans.

this is a side effect of the "new" social studies books instead of books on history. then too, I went to school in the 1960's and had more than a few teachers who where vets of that war. what is lost on the kids today was the sheer amount of effort that went into winning that war. not only in lives lost. but in "stuff" made here to feed and support the
war effort. in the late 1990's my kid's social studies book had 2.5 pages on WW2 and one page of that was on the Atomic bomb and how bad it was we used it. BUT, they had 64 plus pages on the civil rights story and how brave everyone was that "fought it" funny thing, I asked the teacher about this, why is a time where close to 50 or 70 million people died only gets 2 pages ? he told me the 'school board " buys the books, not me.
seems to me, they stop teaching kids to think and more on feel about stuff.
