If I was a betting man, I would bet that social media addiction played a role. She was probably too engrossed in taking a selfie or video to bother with holding on to the lap bar and making sure she was sitting back far enough to keep from slipping out.
ReplyDeleteIt's not a risk free sport. Heavenly had a couple fatalities just last week. I believe one of them was a boarder wearing a backpack who got caught on the lift, carried up and then fell. Spent many years working in a resort hospital. Saw several fatalities every season.
