Some Actors are hired just for breathing. This would generally be for a Looping or ADR Session where the voice actor is re-creating efforts for the on camera actor. This is to get the audio clean and be able to mix it just perfectly. Most times the fight audio from the actual show is never used and is replaced with voice actors!
Foley artists (or actors) are specialized sound professionals who create, record, and synchronize everyday sound effects - such as footsteps, rustling clothing, and object handling - in a studio during post-production to enhance film and television immersion. Working in pairs, they meticulously mimic on-screen actions to add texture, emotion, and realism to the audio track.
