Don't think the local channel is any more honest than their mother network. I had an animated email discussion with the local ABC affiliate news director after Goode was killed trying to murder the ICE agent. He said without a shred of care that what ABC tells them to say, their local channel will say... and nothing more. Doesn't matter what else comes out. If it doesn't come from Mother ABC, it doesn't exist. I've tuned into them trying to catch the weather reports and everything they're saying is slanted, to the degree that they got local highschoolers to skip school to march against ICE, and then get the kids' march covered by their channel. It's all a sham.
