What was supposed to be a thrilling pregame spectacle at the Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas on Friday nearly turned into a disaster, as a parachuter got caught in the netting behind a goalpost.
The person was momentarily stuck near the netting approximately 35 feet above the ground by a wire at the top of the goalpost, before falling into a small crowd of people standing behind the end zone.
Bowl officials said the jumper was not injured and it did not appear that anyone was hurt on the ground.
