Why do you suppose the law was written the way it was - the counties with more people thing? I'd have to believe that had everything to do with LA and SanFran and pretty much nothing else. There's gotta be some seriously pissed off gun-haters out there right now. Good.

California Assembly Bill 544 was passed in July 2025 and took effect Friday. The new law mandates that all e-bikes must have a light or reflector at all times.

You have to love AI (note the sarcasm). I searched if Bernard Goetz was still alive and one AI search said yes, he was still alive. A different AI insisted that he died March 24th, 2024.
