Yes, the New Jersey legislature is trying to ban plastic utensils. New Jersey lawmakers introduced a measure that would restrict single-use utensils and condiments at restaurants to “upon request” only and require reusable utensils for dine-in at larger sites.
The bill applies to food service businesses statewide, including restaurants, cafés, food trucks, grocery and convenience store counters, schools, hospitals, arenas, and similar venues. It would bar bundled utensil or condiment packs, set online ordering defaults to “no utensils or condiments,” and make businesses with 50 or more on-site seats offer washable, reusable utensils for customers eating on premises.

A bill introduced in the New Jersey Assembly would mandate that transgender inmates in state prisons be housed according to their gender identity rather than the gender assigned at birth, and that correctional staff use inmates’ preferred gender pronouns.
Under the bill, corrections officers would be required to ask each inmate upon intake to identify their gender identity or expression, state whether they identify as transgender, non-binary, or intersex, and provide their preferred pronouns.

I call bullsh*t. You don't get arrested for non-criminal behavior. If more blacks are getting arrested, it's because more of them are getting caught. But just getting caught doesn't reduce crime if they turn around and are released the same day by idiot judges. And the relations between blacks and cops is already terrible; I doubt it can get any worse. Too large of a chunk of the black population are uncivilized barbarians and get away with anything they can. And it makes the ones that aren't look bad.

ReplyDeleteMy little town was able to reduce crime with one simple trick: they stopped taking police reports. When someone tried to carjack a friend, the cops told her she wasn't killed, failed to steal the car, and just because he smashed her window was no reason to take the report. Besides, the DA wouldn't prosecute, so skip the paperwork, and the town has one less violent crime.
