So happy I bought a set of lawn darts before they were banned. Great, fun game.
ReplyDeleteIn the sixties my brothers and I would play war with a little plastic airplanes launched with a rubber bands. They were hard plastic, about 2 to 2 and a half inches long, and sold for 5¢. We stopped using them when one hit a window and broke it.
ReplyDeleteWe played lawn darts. We were SMART enough to have everybody stand at one end and throw the lawn darts at the other. BTW I just found them in the garage in 2024. Not in the best of shape but still in the box
