Seattle's gone full commie...

Katie Wilson, running as a far‑left candidate, declared she “will not allow private grocery stores to close in a neighborhood without response,” signaling a major shift toward government control of food markets. Her stance reflects the bigger agenda: intervene in private business decisions under the guise of “food access.” If freedom matters, Seattle should be wary. Katie Wilson, the mayor-elect of Seattle, is a community organizer and self-proclaimed socialist who recently won the mayoral race against incumbent Bruce Harrell.
Wilson's platform focused on affordability, proposing policies such as progressive taxation and the exploration of government-backed grocery stores.
The quote, "WE WILL NOT ALLOW GROCERY CHAINS TO CLOSE STORES AT WILL", reflects her commitment to 'workers' rights' and 'community ownership over corporate control'.
She is the co-founder and executive director of the Transit Riders Union, a group advocating for improved public transportation.
Wilson's campaign was described as an "insurgent campaign" that surprised many, as she was a newcomer to the mayoral race.

As New York City goes, so goes Seattle. That sucking sound you'll here in both cities is these two wanabee communists destroying two great places to live. God save the Union if this is the direction our country is going.

Have you ever tried one of these?

When you fill this thing and turn it on, it gets the water to boil in about a minute.
Use that water for your coffee or tea or whatever you need boiling water for.
Juss' sayin' - I like it. Click on the picture and get one for yourself.
This one is less than $ 24.00, but the one Barb bought last year cost over $ 40.00,
and they both do the same exact thing.

  2. Seattle, like NYC, deserves everything it gets, good and hard.

  3. We have been using one much like that for several years. Really couldn't get along with out it. You won't regret buying one.

  4. Seattle died a long time ago. The only inhabitants now are people imported there from elseware. No knowledge of the history, former culture, or anything. Just "a job". The only thing that keeps the corpse twitching is a couple of carefully curated Tourist Areas which keep stimulating the nerves of the dead body and make it twitch...

  5. I hope that every grocery store in the city limits of Seattle closes down. Screw these rat bastard socialist twits!

    1. I wanna see how she plans on forcing a company to keep a store open.
      And how the store responds...

  6. Frankly, if I were the owner of a grocery store in Seattle that wasn't immensely profitable, I would get out as soon as possible. I would want to be gone, even at a loss, before the new mayor and city counsel get organized. I don't believe that -in the end- they could force a company to stay open, but they could make it a legal nuisance and a PR headache. So: get out while the getting is good!
