In New Jersey and Virginia, Democrats have fielded candidates for governor who support the idea of males competing against females in sports. If either or both of these Democrats are elected next month - Mikie Sherrill in New Jersey and Abigail Spanberger in Virginia - it will be hailed by LGBTQXYZ+/- activists as a victory for 'transgender ideology'. If not, it will signal the continued repudiation of a destructive and evil ideology that’s already falling out of style. For transgender ideologues, the 2025 election cycle is critical to their agenda. Thankfully, there are fewer around these days.
Sherrill is a Lib hack if ever there was one. She voted twice - in 2023 and again in 2025 - against bills in Congress to ensure that boys and girls sports remain sex segregated. She also voted against legislation requiring schools to inform parents that their children have bought into transgender ideology. Spanberger also voted against protecting girls in sports before leaving Congress and opposed letting parents know about their child’s interest in changing teams.

For 17 years – from 1953 until 1970 – United ran daily flights that didn’t allow women. These men‑only trips were branded “The Executive” (“The Chicago Executive” / “The New York Executive”), and later there was a west coast flight between Los Angeles and San Francisco.
Marketed as “a club in the sky—For Men Only,” the service featured first class seating, steak dinners, cocktails, complimentary cigars, slippers, teletype business news with closing market quotes, and a “last‑minute message” service before pushback.
Women (other than the stewardesses) and children were not allowed. The service began on DC‑6B “Mainliners,” later shifting to Sud‑Aviation Caravelle VI‑R jets in an all‑first‑class 64‑seat 2‑2 layout.
After complaints (including a 1969 NOW protest and federal regulatory filings) and declining loads, United ended the service January 14, 1970.

Now that standard time has kicked in, we can all enjoy the sunset while we are eating lunch. Personally, I would suggest that it is time to end this archaic practice of manipulating the clocks...

Shady NYC dog dealers are selling puppies - for thousands of dollars each - out of the trunk of a car in broad daylight...
A group of guys were caught on film last week at West 47th Street in Midtown, brazenly hawking close to a dozen 9-week-old miniature and toy poodles in broad daylight – despite the sale ban in New York since last year. It begs the question: Are there really people out there who have a couple G's in their pocket who would buy one and take it to wherever? The reality is, anybody who'd pay that much for a dog, well, I just don't get it, but I'm more of a cat guy anyway, so...

In a recent interview with a British tabloid, Harrison Ford inserted in to the discussion that he "doesn't 'know of a greater criminal in history' than Trump". At the time, they were discussing his career - not politics. He just had to get that in to the article. I honest to god have no idea why these people think we give a flying rat's ass fuck about what they think about anything.
They have one job - and one job only. To misquote Sinatra, 'they should just sing and shut the fuck up'.

Mandatory voting is an exceptionally bad idea. Don't know? Don't care? Don't vote!
ReplyDeleteBig Dipper outer leg of the cup points to the North Star. That is Boy Scout navigation stuff. I had forgotten the orientation and season of the year, I learned that in the astronomy class I took.

Regarding the squirrel meme: It's been that kind of year. Upgrading our major piece of software at our plant and were originally told my team's involvement would be minimal. It's ended taking an average of 90% of our time. At least I get overtime pay. It has funded some thing this year I was having a hard time saving for otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI never flew on a “The Executive” flight, but I remember when cigar and pipe smokers were asked to move to the back of the plane.

ReplyDeleteThe swastika is an extremely old symbol. Is the North Star/ Big Dipper alignment where it originated?
ReplyDeleteThe really sad news in the restaurant world is that HOOTERS has closed 30 or 40 restaurants (reports vary) and the company is almost $400 million in debt. That's probably 600 t0 800 Hooters girls out of work and thousands of customers without access to some of the best hot wings on the planet.
