"Error code 500" and other problems our parents never had...

The above is an enhanced version of what you see right after you hear 'Houston - we have a problem'. An "error code 500" is a 500 Internal Server Error, which is a generic message indicating that the website's server encountered an unexpected problem that prevented it from completing your request. This is not an issue with your device or internet connection, but rather with the website itself. Common causes include server configuration problems, corrupted files, or issues with the website's code.
The reason I bring this up is because I got that response back 10 or 12 times yesterday when I tried to pull up different websites. I haven't seen any news about some kinda worldwide whateverthefuck, so maybe it's just a coincidence so many websites were down at the same time? I don't necessarily believe in coincidences. Juss' sayin'...

Stewart Lee, a British comedian, has made it clear that he refuses to perform in the U.S. during President Trump’s tenure, citing political differences. In a shocking statement, Lee revealed his decision to boycott the country over concerns about the political climate under Trump. Rather than engage with American audiences, Lee chose to speak out against the president, claiming fear of a rising “fascist” sentiment. His extreme stance highlights the deep divide in the entertainment industry, where liberal elites like Lee continue to criticize the democratically elected president without engaging with the majority of American voters who support Trump.

German sisters the Kessler Twins, who came to fame in the 1950s and '60s performing behind the likes of Sinatra and Fred Astaire as they entertained post-World War II crowds, chose to end their lives together Monday in their home near Munich according to German newspaper Bild. The sisters, Alice and Ellen, both 89, opted to die by medical aid, which is legal in Germany. Authorities confirmed their deaths in Grünwald, where they shared adjoining flats divided by a sliding wall.

  2. Stewart Lee: Piss off, you pommy wanker. By the time Trump is out of office, you'll be a has-been.

  3. Did Stewart Lee, a British comedian, just step on a rake? How many times have we seen bad things happen to losers who wish bad things to happen to President Trump? 4 prominent democrats who committed loan frauds comes to mind.

  4. Stewart Lee, a British comedian ...never heard of him. Won't perform here? So what? No great loss. And given how authoritarian his own government has become to exterminate and censor the native Britons, he'll have a lot of explaining to do.
