I know it's only a comic, and Bill Watterson is usually pretty smart, but only a moron complains about too many choices at the grocery store. That's a Bernie Sanders level communist stupidity.
ReplyDeleteWorked in a liquor store (aka a packy) in MA in the mid 70s. There was a tray of some brand of cheese and peanut butter crackers on the counter for sale. A regular customer, also a stoner, bought a pack of crackers with some beer. Guy came back in a couple of minutes and showed us the opened pack or crackers. There were little white bugs crawling over and through the crackers in the pack. He said I'm pretty sure the one I ate was OK. We gave him a can of beer as for his troubles and I walked the pack to the dumpster. I still remember it like it was yesterday and I've never eaten those crackers since. TC
