The protests organized by Refuse Fascism (the precursor gaggle opf idiots before they changed their name)on November 4, 2017, were intended to launch a sustained, non-violent mass mobilization to drive the Trump-Pence administration from power.
The organization believed that the administration represented a "catastrophic danger to humanity" and that waiting for the next election would be too late.
Their goal was to create a political crisis through continued protests that would grow from thousands to millions, making it impossible for the administration to govern and ultimately leading to its removal from power. They advocated for nonviolent protests and resistance. The whole thing fizzled...
