  1. You save $10 buying directly from HP. The printer is $10 more than replacement XL ink cartridges.

    Twenty five years ago HP had the 4100 series XL ink cartridges priced about $15 more than a new printer with XL ink. That is why I have 2, new in the box, 4100's minus their ink cartridges. My son was the business major that figured that out.

  2. So I quit paying for instant ink as they owed me about 150 accumulated " free pages" to print. Now the HP printer says it can't read the ink cartridges' and refuses to work.
