We do we continue to make the same mistakes?

Wouldn't it be nice if some day we actually had good candidates
to select, rather then the same old party hacks?

I'm only referencing the NJ Gubernatorial election race as an example. Under present Governor Murphy, the state has pissed away billions chasing all that green agenda shit, closed power plants enabling utility prices in the state to nearly triple, raised taxes left and right, and then there's that whole sanctuary bullshit.
Now, the Dimocrat candidate has said she will follow in Murphy's footsteps. She's a stone-cold leftie who only marches to the hard left beat. Why would they want more of the same if the same ain't working?
Oh, and does anybody give a shit that the Dimocrat woman running for governor of New Jersey is not in fact, from New Jersey, but from Virginia? I swear almost nothing makes sense anymore. Juss' sayin'...

The is the most depressing sign  in the whole country...

Not because it's ugly. Because it means your escape from reality just expired.
You're standing here at 8 AM. Taking the obligatory "I survived paradise" photo. While your phone buzzes with work emails you've been ignoring for 4 days.
Here's what nobody tells you about Mile 0: It's not the end of the Keys. It's the beginning of withdrawal. You spent the weekend where flip-flops count as formal wear. Where the biggest decision was rum or tequila. Where roosters had more authority than your boss.
And now you're 3 hours from sitting in traffic. Listening to people complain about things that don't matter. In a place where the sunset happens behind buildings instead of water.
But here's the thing about this sign. Every person who stops here starts planning their comeback. Before they even get to Miami. See you again as soon as I can, Mile 0.

There are basically two types of people. People who accomplish things, and people who claim to have accomplished things. The first group is less crowded.

Don't you find it a bit incomprehensible that something (well, if the universe is a 'thing') can have no beginning and no end? We understand completely how something physical - say a ruler - can be exactly 12 inches long and have a start and a finish, but the concept that there'd be a ruler that you couldn't see the beginning of nor the end? Well, that's kinda like what the whole 'endless, timeless universe' is, isn't it. Makes my brain hurt just a little trying to grasp it, and the only thing I can come up with is how 'God' created it all from nothing in just seven short days. That makes my brain hurt a little more, actually...

The Department of Homeland Security says Immigration and Customs Enforcement will not comply with California Gov. Gavin Newsom's "unconstitutional" mask ban.
"At a time that ICE law enforcement faces a 1,000% increase in assaults and their family members are being doxxed and targeted, the sitting Governor of California signed unconstitutional legislation that strips law enforcement of protections in a disgusting, diabolical fundraising and PR stunt," DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin said in a post on X.
California on Saturday became the first state to ban most law enforcement officers, including federal immigration agents, from covering their faces while conducting official business.

If that ain't just about the stupidest fuckin' thing any politician pissed away their time and effort on, I don't honestly know what is. What could this jerkoff possibly hope to achieve in any meaningful way pushing a crazy, bullshit law' like this. Aside, of course, from making him look like the jackwagon he is. Juss' sayin'...

  1. I thought the mile 0 sign was in downtown KeyWest? The picture looks like maybe the northern end of highway 1. Was in
KeyWest 2 years ago and it the surroundings looked much different.

I can't decrypt the license plate.

  7. Re; Newscum, with enough screeching Agi-prop, SOMEBODY might take a shot at them or try to drive over them. It's just Commie ractic to escalate tension and violence.
Advice, read Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky. EVERYONE on the left has. Those rules can be applied to them. Those rules DO apply to you and your neighborhood.
