One of these days we're all gonna realize how fucked up and genuinely destructive social media - wether it's FB, X or Insta - really is. Every day it seems we hear of another 'influencer' (didn't we usta call 'em hacks or flacks or flunkies?) dying doing something stupid for the 'followers' to see. Every day we're bombarded with half-truths and straight-up bullshit about shit we don't need to know, but for the fact that it's there. Do you think there'll come a day when we all just say 'enough' and walk away from social media? I say don't bet the ranch on it. That's shit's worse than heroine. Juss' sayin'...

ReplyDeleteWe put a large vase on the porch to conceal Amazon deliveries. Maybe 25% of package delivery guys are smart enough to put stuff behind the vase? Most just don't GAS. In most cases it's the difference between a drop and a slight flick of the wrist. Gawd forbid they'd have to give that much extra.
