Political polarisation refers to the extent to which political differences affect social relationships beyond political discussions. Do you understand that? Societies are deemed to be highly polarized if supporters of opposing political camps are reluctant or incapable of engaging in friendly interactions, for example, in family functions, civic associations, their free time activities and workplaces.
We've lost our ability to enjoy reasonable discourse. Politics had become trench warfare for most people. We can no longer 'agree to disagree'. That's why Charlie Kirk was shot by that little jerkoff. He disagreed with what Charlie said, and took his disagreement to the ultimate, fatal conclusion. This shit needs to stop, somehow, but I'll be fucked if I know how we can...

Former President Joe Biden’s new effort to raise money for a presidential library is struggling to attract Democrat donors, according to a report.
More than half a dozen people who were once major Biden donors or fundraisers spoke to NBC News. Most said they have no animosity toward the former president, but they either would not give to the library or would only give a limited amount.

I haven't been back to Jersey in ten years, and haven't been on the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ for probably 40 years, but I can tell you without hesitation that if you ever find yourself there on the boardwalk, ya gotta have at least one slice of Mack's Pizza. They've been there for something like 70 years.
When I was a kid, once a week during the summer my Dad would take us up on the boards for dinner - what he called 'junk night'. We kids got a buck each to have whatever we wanted, and I'd always want a couple slices of Macks. At the time, the slices were 25 cents and a whole pie was $ 1.75. Different times.

The Boss stopped in to catch the home game on 9/11, and to celebrate that, Judge hit two home runs in the game. The guy is a fuckin' beast. And, while we're mentioniong him - a word to the wise for opposing pitchers: If he comes up in the first inning, walk him or hit him. Juss' sayin'...

ReplyDeleteNOT vitamin C under an electron microscope. Probably a polarizing filter at 1-200x in a standard light scope. Vitamin C is a popular material to demonstrate this technique and pictures are often spectacular. The method has a few specific technical uses, but is widely applied in photomicrography to generate stunning and often incredibly beautiful images particularly of crystals.
ReplyDeleteJoe Biden has stolen enough money in his 48 years of government employment to build his library.
ReplyDeletePatricia Heaton is a great conservative. She was hilarious as the mom in the TV show "The Middle," too. Still easy on the eyes as well.
ReplyDeleteThe proper takeaway from the Polarization graph is that we MUST SEPARATE. Free people need the opportunity to leave the scum behind that wishes them dead. As horrible as the prospect of that separation might be, the obvious and INEVITABLE alternative is beyond horrible. Time to end the failed experiment. It failed because GOVERNMENT was allowed to destroy this country.
