That's my older brother TJ and me sitting in front of the waterfall on the side of the road going in to Doochary in County Donegal, Ireland.
TJ sadly passed a few years ago, and every time I drive past this spot (at least a couple times a year), I can't help but think of him and all of the good -
make that great - times we had together. He wasn't just my big brother - he was my best friend.
Take just one minute out of your day and just gaze at this video of the falls, reflecting on someone you may miss. Believe me, it works.
I'm sobbing a bit just typing this. Good memory tears.
...
And the pair of you having . . . great jeans.
ReplyDeleteI know you miss your brother dearly, Joe. I think about my former home, family and friends still in the Republic every day.
ReplyDeleteI spin by here very infrequently now (life is busy). I looked at the picture of you and your brother and did a double take. I worked for the same company (but not in the business sales dept ) as Tom about 25 years ago. I didn't know him on a personal level but we all ate in the same canteen at lunch time. Man, the world is small. So sorry to hear he has passed.
ReplyDeletevery nice
