This is what happens when ya wanna be some kinda 'goody-two-shoes-everybody-deserves a break' jackwagon. The number of foreigners claiming 'Universal Credit' (welfare) in Britain in the month of June was 1.26 million people, out of a total 7.9 million claimants, new statistics from the UK Government reveal. The estimated population of England in 2024 is 57,690,300 - that means a full 14% of all Brits (don't forget the non-Brits) are on 'the dole'.
Universal Credit is a welfare payment that was created by the previous Conservative government to replace a plethora of other smaller benefits into one easier to administer handout. Claimants can be unemployed, unable to work, or in very low paid work and receiving a top-up to bring them up to a living wage.
Migrants can become eligible for the payment if they have indefinite leave to remain or refugee status and indeed over two per cent of all claimants are refugees of varying classifications.
Funding their own demise....just like the US.

ReplyDeleteSo, if I left my comfortable retirement (unemployed technically) here in the US, flew to the UK and entered claiming refugee status, would they start sending me a check (direct deposit to my US bank would be preferred)? If so, I then take the Chunnel to France, fly home and see how long the scam persists.

ReplyDeleteAn English customer told me that the population of the UK is unknown because millions have just walked in. It will be much higher than the official figure. He said there was no immigration at Heathrow after about midnight so tried that by flying in on a late flight. He said he just walked into the UK without interacting with anyone. I hope he was bullshitting me but he had no reason to.
