About 90% of the prescription drugs consumed in the U.S. are imported from other countries.
China is a dominant supplier of several key over-the-counter drugs, including painkillers and antibiotics - both branded and generics.
Major pharmaceutical drugs imported from China include pain relievers like ibuprofen and acetaminophen, for which China makes up 95% and 70% of U.S. imports, respectively.
Penicillin, an important antibiotic for bacterial infections, is also primarily imported from China.

ReplyDeleteWe don't make it here because we can make it much cheaper elsewhere, which American is going to work for $3 an hour for starters? Our input cost for raw materials etc are also going to be higher.
It's like Trump screaming Apple must manufacture iPhones in the US, you won't be able to afford an iPhone made in the US. The funny thing is Trump brings out the $500 Trump Phone claiming it's proudly made in the USA and the maga idiots go googoogagga over the shiny piece of crap. That thing is not made in the USA, it's made by a Chinese company in China, it's a a rebrand you can buy on Amazon for $170. Why doesn't he make his crap in the USA, hypocrite & a liar is what he is.
We only use supplements made in America. Think they don't work? I had prostate problems for 10 years. Couldn't pee, hurt like hell when I did. Doctor put me on drug that causes cancer, I threw it out. Tried apple cider vinegar, made it worse. Took prostate supplements (they're all pretty much the same) didn't help UNTIL I added grapefruit extract. Grapefruit kills bacteria in the prostate. Maybe this can help someone here.
