God - I love the way Brit tabloids report shit. This is their take on Trumps visit to the Meadowlands today: President Trump was joined by first lady Melania Trump and FIFA President Gianni Infantino in the stands looking down at the pitch (we call them 'playing fields'. Pictures show the trio standing side-by-side as the US national anthem was performed pre match.
When they were first shown on the big screen, a 'rapturous' applause could be heard across the huge stadium. Trump - standing in his traditional navy suit and long red tie - held a proud salute during the Star Spangled Banner performance. His wife Melania also held her hand up across her chest 'honouring America's brave troops'. She 'stunned in a luxury white dress, thick Christian Dior sunglasses and a black coat' which sat over her shoulders.
Infantino hosted the couple in the executive suit just weeks after he spoke with Trump in the White House about the 2026 World Cup. The global tournament is set to take place across the United States, Mexico and Canada and will include a new expanded 48-team format.

Funny thing about the word 'soccer' is that we got it from the English before the English went all euro-trash and started calling it 'football.' Bunch of pussies.
ReplyDeleteThe USA got the term "soccer" from the Brits. We werent the only ones. There is a YouTube channel "Lost in the Pond" that does a great job popping some of the myths.
ReplyDeleteNo nicotine in these some fake plants or??? DO NOT BUY
ReplyDeleteI wish someone would teach Trump how to properly salute.
ReplyDeleteHe did attend military school.
DeleteI am assuming that Mr. Trump had Army Jr ROTC in military school. I emphasize the Army part. His salute is how the doggy's salute.
DeleteHere in Australia it’s mainly referred to as soccer
