Variety reports the scared band has entirely nixed its American tour slated to launch Aug. 15 in Bethel, NY and traverse the entire country before concluding in Anaheim, Calif. on Nov. 8.
he band took to social media on Wednesday to outline why the end is nigh for its touring hopes and aspirations, specifically noting: “The combination of extreme heat, unpredictable flooding, tornadoes, hurricanes and massive forest fires make these risks for you our audience, the band and the crew unacceptable. So … “You can blame it on the weather… The tour is cancelled.”
It's no big deal, Stevo - you kinda suck anyway, and besides, who wants to pay 300 or 400 or more per ticket to watch a bunch of geriatrics forget their own lyrics. No big, ya joker, you. If you really give a shit, the full story is here...

Steve Miller Band? Yeah, I remember them.
ReplyDeleteHated every song they ever did.
Ticket sales reportedly were low to dismal. Four weeks out from the start date. Yup, it's the "climate" all right. The US is having something called 'summer'. Heat, rain, then hurricane season, man you'd have to be a fool to risk that.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is the pretext. The aforementioned poor sales is the most likely culprit.
