If Sinatra got up on stage at The Sands and belted out some "Yippee-Ki-Yay" shit, he'd be five times more 'country' than this overly-developed poser.
How dare Billboard proclaim her as the 'highest-grossing country tour artist? Following the completion of the Cowboy Carter Tour, Beyoncé has made concert history. The three-month tour became the highest-grossing 'country tour' ever.
According to Billboard, the tour grossed approximately $407.6 million with 1.2 million tickets sold across 32 shows since its opening date on April 28. The 32-time Grammy winner held down multiple nights in locations globally, like five shows in Los Angeles, three shows in Chicago, five shows in New Jersey and six shows in London.
Having toured across nine cities, Beyoncé has extended two historical feats: becoming the highest-grossing Black artist of all time and the highest-grossing R&B artist of all time. The "16 Carriages" vocalist also becomes the first woman and the first American act to have two separate tours cross $400 million. How did she get to that plateau? The "Cowboy Carter" tour has the highest average ticket price for a female artist tour, reaching $255.36.

“The fact that a police department would hire an illegal alien and unlawfully issue him a firearm while on duty would be comic if it weren’t so tragic,” ICE Boston Field Office Director Patricia Hyde said. “We have a police department that was knowingly breaking the very law they are charged with enforcing in order to employ an illegal alien. ICE Boston will continue to prioritize public safety by arresting and removing criminal alien threats from our New England communities.”

Yes, according to experts, California's $20 fast-food wage hike has led to a noticeable decrease in fast-food jobs. A study indicates that 18,000 fast-food jobs were lost since April 2024, representing a 3.2% drop in employment within that sector. This decline is notably steeper compared to job losses in the fast-food industry in other states.
The study, published by the National Bureau of Economic Research, found a decrease of 18,000 jobs specifically in the fast-food sector in California since April 2024. This job loss translates to a 3.2% decline in employment within California's fast-food industry.
The report highlights that this decline is significantly larger than the job losses experienced in the fast-food sectors of other states. The wage hike, which raised the minimum wage for fast-food workers to $20, went into effect in April 2024.

A landmark Jersey Shore restaurant and bar has had to put an end to nights that allowed patrons under legal drinking age. It was not an issue of teenagers trying to order their own drinks — but instead parents trying to sneaking alcohol to their own kids, says a Facebook post by Joe Pop's Shore Bar and Restaurant.
The Long Beach Island establishment said it was an “overwhelming” issue that forced them to stop allowing patrons younger than 21.
That whole thing about people wanting to be thought of as the 'cool parents' to their's and other kids makes me crazy. It's not a parent's job to 'be cool' until the kids themselves are maybe 30 and have kids of their own. A parent's job is to kick your ass when you fuck up. Well, at least that's what my father thought his job was. Juss' sayin'...

I admit that I was against arresting Obama (or Hillary for that matter) until you mentioned that the left would riot. It's riot season, they don't need an excuse. It might be entertaining to watch a riot with a government that is more than willing to suppress it and make arrests. Of course, it would be too much to ask for, but I would also like to see the rioters -- and those that instigated the riot -- treated like the J6ers. Hunt them down relentlessly, hold them in solitary, and delay prosecution until they've been in solitary long enough to hallucinate. While we're at it, let's have a few dozen Kyle's keeping the rioters honest.
ReplyDeleteIt won't happen though. Conservatives are patsy that still believe in the system (by definition). They'll wag their finger at the left, but they wont' actually do anything. My son keeps pointing out that is what is different from eGOP and MAGA. MAGA isn't conservative, the two are just somewhat aligned.
The people who are PAYING the protestors/rioters/insurrectionist/murderers need to be "Hunt them down relentlessly, hold them in solitary, and delay prosecution until they've been in solitary long enough to hallucinate." Then execute them because being rich and elite doesn't make you "above the law."
DeleteNo lady Godiva there on that horse, paid obscene amount of money to walk on stage for Kamala Harris and do nothing, greed has no limits on reputation of ones self.
ReplyDeleteHey, Philadelphia, at one time, wanted to hire police officers that couldn't speak English, for Christ's sake.
ReplyDeleteWait just a doggone minute, I saw Frank Sinatra in a western once. He wasn't half bad.
ReplyDeleteCalif has illegal cops, lawyers and I think even a few judges.
ReplyDeleteNot only should BHO be arrested and convicted of treason, he should be hanged in public. No other president other than LBJ got away with so many felonies.
ReplyDeleteA race war would be over in 15 minutes.
ReplyDeleteMaybe CHYNA shouldn't have been murdering girl babies for decades.
ReplyDeleteGovernment spending causes inflation. That should be hammered into everyones brain from the day they are born.
ReplyDeleteI bought a Fridgedaire fridge from Lowes last year and in conked out in two months. Lowes wouldn't fix it. Fridgedaire took a whole week to send a repairman out. Lost a whole lot of food not covered by warranty. Now I get a letter every month asking me to extend the warranty. If you make a good product why do I need to keep paying for a permanent warranty?
ReplyDeleteAs far as I know I've never heard a Bey Once song, To quote my bride, "I wouldn't pay $255.36 to see an ant eat a bale of hay.".

Sinatra no, however I do remember my grandparents having several Dean Martin country albums.
ReplyDeleteDean Martin's foray into country music is highlighted by two albums released in 1963: "Dean "Tex" Martin: Country Style" and "Dean "Tex" Martin Rides Again". These albums, produced by Chuck Sagle and arranged by Don Costa, marked his first venture into the genre. "Country Style" includes tracks like "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" and "Hey, Good Lookin'," while "Rides Again" features songs such as "Detour" and "Little Old Wine Drinker, Me".
DeleteFake "cowgirl" was playing across the street from a show I went to a few weeks ago. Half the parking lots were goth, the other half wearing cowboy hats. Probably 90%+ of her fans were in cowboy boots and hats. No idea where they got all of that in the middle of Atlanta.
ReplyDeleteThere's something off about that cal fast food story. Does it count part time workers? News and anecdotal reports say it's much higher. Don't trust any gov dept with names like the National Bureau of Economic Research. Where's DOGE?
ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen the Beyonce Barbie doll before! I'm sure the success of the tour came from guys hoping she'd do that on stage.
ReplyDeleteso obama skates because we're afraid to deal with rioters? isn't that just called mob rule? the mob does whatever it wants with 0 consequences. why can't we all just do that?
