According to a report in today's Post, House GOP Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain (R-Mich.) posted photos of Crockett (D-Texas) boarding her flight ahead of the wheelchair-confined passengers and highlighted the security that flanked the outspoken Democrat. On her X account she quipped: “SPOTTED: Jasmine Crockett with a taxpayer-funded police escort, cutting everyone in line - even making DISABLED people wait,” McClain chided on social media with images of the Texas rep cutting the line. “Nothing to see here, just the next leader of the Democrats (Oh, God help us!) abusing her power.”
Crockett, who landed in hot water for dubbing Texas Gov. Greg Abbott “governor hot wheels” in a jab at his wheelchair status earlier this year, had been taking a flight from Atlanta back to Washington, DC, on Sunday.

ReplyDeleteHartsfield employees are notorious for knuckeling under for POC that have an office or who were related to MLK. Coretta Scott King would show up at a gate demanding a fist class ticket bumping somebody out of first class or off the plane.

we really need to change the way these assholes get rich on OUR dime. don't know about you, but I am really tired of hearing how well off "they " are compared to the rest of us.
One of my friends is a retired politician. He was constantly in campaign mode. Whenever he was out in the community, he was saying hello, listening to people's tales of woe, and asking how the kids were. I think he naturally liked people, and did not see his office as putting himself above others. Too many congresspeople think they're special and ahould be treated as such.
